学校简介：

福建信息职业技术学院位于中华人民共和国福建省省会——福州。福州是一座具有2000多年悠久历史的文化名城，是中国东南沿海的一个重要港口。它背山依江面海，气候宜人，地理环境优越，有榕城、温泉城之雅称，还有“江南胜地”之美誉。

学校现有位于福建省省会的福州市区的龙腰校区、杜园校区以及位于平潭综合实验区、国际旅游岛的占地1100亩的平潭新校区。是一所以工科为主、商旅文创相结合，以信息技术和闽台合作为特色的全日制普通高职院校，办学历史溯源于1906年创办的福州青年会书院。学校现设有物联网与人工智能学院、智能制造学院、文化创意与旅游学院、建筑工程学院、商贸管理学院、数字产业学院、马克思主义学院、基础教学部、创新创业学院、继续教育学院等教学单位、44个办学专业。学校现有全日制在校生约17651人（其中外国留学生77人）、成人专科在校生4334人；现有教职工610人，其中专任教师515人。学校先后与美国、英国、德国、新加坡、泰国、韩国和中国台湾等多个国家和地区的10多所高等院校及科研机构建立了友好往来关系。

Fujian Polytechnic of Information Technology, located in Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province of the People’s Republic of China. Fuzhou is a cultural city with a long history of more than 2,000 years. As an important port along the southeast coast of China, Fuzhou is noted for its pleasant climate and superior geographical environment which has won it the elegant name of Rong City and Hot Spring City as well as the reputation of “the holy land near the Yangtze River”.

FJPIT currently has three campuses called Longyao campus, Duyuan campus and Pingtan campus covering an area of 73.33 hectares. Originated from Fuzhou Youth Association College in 1906 and as a full-time vocational college, it focuses on engineering, combines with business, tourism, art and innovation, and features information technology and its cooperation with Taiwan. At present, it, with 44 majors, has 10 teaching units, including Faculty of Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Intelligent Manufacturing, Faculty of Tourism and cultural creativity, Faculty of Construction Engineering, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Digital Industry, Faculty of Marxism, Department of Basic Teaching, Faculty of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Continuing Education. There are about 17,651 students (including 77 international students) and 4,334 adult college students. There are 620 teaching staff, including 515 full-time teachers. It has built partnerships with more than 10 institutions of higher education and research institutions in many countries and regions, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Korea and Taiwan.
