学校简介：

广西国际商务职业技术学院建于1965年，隶属于广西壮族自治区商务厅，是一所以培养适应现代商务事业发展需要的国际化应用人才为宗旨的国家公办全日制高等院校，是培养广西商务行业经理人才的摇篮。

在50年的办学历程中，跨境商务专业群获批自治区高水平专业群建设项目，学校荣获中国职业院校世界竞争力力50强及亚太职业院校影响力50强，连续11年获“中国-东盟博览会志愿服务工作先进单位”，是“广西促进中国-东盟自由贸易区建设人才小高地”。

学校现有南宁市大学路校区和东盟校区，占地总面积1800余亩。截止2022年7月，全日制高职在校生近19000人，教职工887人。学校以现代商业为特色，开设有国际贸易学院、应用外国语学院、会计学院、现代流通学院、文化与旅游学院、智能与信息工程学院、数字艺术学院、金融经济学院、人文教育学院、马克思主义学院、创新创业学院，48个专业（含方向）。学校是广西唯一一个开设马来语专业的高等职业院校，常年与马来西亚知名院校开展国际交流合作。

学校秉承“走出去，引进来”的开放式国际化办学战略，目前已与22个国家和地区，如英国，美国，泰国和马来西亚等的40余所大学建立了交流合作关系，并建立了首家海外分校-“桂海商学院”（泰国分校）。

学校常年招收国际学生来我院进行汉语学习、专业技能培训及中国文化体验。到目前为止，学校已招收来自泰国、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、哈萨克斯坦、俄罗斯、阿尔巴尼亚、埃塞俄比亚等近三十个国家共512名师生到我院学习。学校面向东盟合作院校分别在境内外开展了“跨境电子商务培训班”，切入产业标准化业务流程的课程培训得到了合作院校和学员的高度认可。作为商务部全国援助项目的培训单位，曾先后举办“牙买加糖业技术培训班”和“中国 - 东盟旅游产业合作研修班”等援外培训项目，为超过200名来自东盟和其他发展中国家的政府官员和技术人员提供了培训。

Founded in 1965, Guangxi International Business Vocational College (GXIBVC) is affiliated to the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a state-funded full-time higher education institution aiming at cultivating international applied talents to meet the needs of modern business development, and the cradle of cultivating business managers in Guangxi.

In the past 50 years of college running course, the major of cross-border commerce has been approved as the high-level major group construction project of the autonomous region and the college has been recognized as one of The World’s Top 50 Most Competitive Vocational Colleges and Top 50 Asian-Pacific Vocational Colleges in 2020, and Advanced Voluntary Service Unit of China-ASEAN Expo for 11 consecutive years, also the Talent Highland for Promoting the Construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area in Guangxi.

GXIBVC, with Nanning University Road Campus and ASEAN Campus, covers a total area of more than 1,800 mu (120 hectares). As of July 2022, GXIBVC registered nearly 19,000 full-time higher vocational students and it now employs 887 faculty members.

The college is characterized by modern business. There are nearly 900 faculty members and 11 secondary schools with 48 majors, including School of International Trade, School of Applied Foreign Languages, School of Accounting, School of Modern Circulation, School of Culture and Tourism, School of Intelligence and Information Engineering, School of Digital Art, School of Finance and Economics, School of Humanities Education, School of Marxism and School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of International Education.

The college is the only one vocational colleges in Guangxi that offers Malay language courses, and has been engaged in international exchange and cooperation with well-known Malaysian institutions throughout the year.

Adhering to the open international school-running strategy of "going out and bringing in", the college has carried out cooperation and exchanges with more than 40 universities in the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, and Vietnam, and established the first overseas college- "Guihai" Business School” (Thailand Branch).

The college recruits international students for learning Chinese language, professional skills training and Chinese culture experience. Up to now, the college has recruited 512 teachers and students from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Albania, Ethiopia and other countries to study in our college. The College has carried out "Cross-border e-commerce training courses" for ASEAN partner universities at home and abroad, and the courses related to the standardized business processes of the industry have been highly recognized by the partner universities and students. As a training unit of the Ministry of Commerce's national aid projects, it has successively held foreign aid training programs such as "Jamaica Sugar Industry Technical Training Course" and "China-ASEAN Tourism Industry Cooperation Training Course", and training has been provided for more than 200 government officials and technical personnel from ASEAN and other developing countries.
