广州铁路职业技术学院是广东省唯一一所以培养轨道交通、铁路等特有专业人才的全日制普通高等职业院校，2016年2月通过教育部、财政部验收，成为“国家示范性高等职业院校建设计划”骨干高职院校，2016年11月，立项为广东省一流高职院校建设单位，2019年12月，成功入选国家“双高计划”建设单位。学院主动对接“一带一路”倡议，助力“高铁走出去”和粤港澳大湾区建设战略，搭建国际合作与交流平台，推动国际合作交流，引进国外优质职业教育资源，助推轨道交通教育标准走出去，提升学院国际化人才培养质量和国际化服务能力。

Guangzhou Railway Polytechnic (GRP) has developed as the only public higher vocational college in rail transit in Guangdong Province. It is included in the“Double High-level Plan” and acclaimed as the National High Quality Vocational College of China, the National Model (Key) Vocational College of China and the Top-Rated Higher Vocational College in Guangdong Province. GRP) takes the initiative to respond to the Belt and Road Initiative, innovates its international cooperation and exchange mechanism and adheres to the principle of "introduction, cultivation and output".
