Hubei Land Resources Vocational College
湖北国土资源职业学院始建于1978年。建校以来，坚守为党育人、为国育才的初心使命，栉风沐雨、薪火相传，团结进取、勇于创新，孕育和积淀了矢志不渝的工匠精神、以人为本的办学理念、优良的校风学风、深厚的文化底蕴。学校现已基本形成理、工、文、管、经、艺相结合，多学科相互渗透、协调发展的办学特色。全日制在校生11642人。
学校是湖北省高水平高职学校和专业群建设单位，教育部第三批现代学徒制试点建设单位、全国国土资源教学指导委员会水工环专指委主任单位。
学校设置自然资源与地理信息学院、环境与工程学院、汽车与机电学院、信息与传媒学院、财经商务学院、马克思主义学院、继续教育学院。开设有47个高职专业（方向），其中，国家级骨干专业1个、教育部现代学徒制试点专业2个、中央财政支持建设专业2个、省级重点专业1个、省级品牌特色专业4个、省级骨干专业6个。
步入新时代，学校继续围绕立德树人根本任务，深化创新驱动，实现内涵发展，为加快建设特色鲜明、行业一流、区域有为、省内领先、国内知名的高职院校而砥砺奋进。
Hubei Land Resources Vocational College, founded in 1978, adhered to its initial mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country. After tiding over the times of difficulties, it passes on the lamp further, unites to forge ahead, stays pioneering and innovative, thus gestating and accumulating the persistent workmanship spirit, the people-oriented philosophy, a great atmosphere of campus and learning, and profound cultural deposits. Today, the college is characterized by the combination of sciences, engineering, arts, management, economics and arts, with multiple disciplines penetrating each other and coordinated for development. There are 11,642 students on campus.
The college is part of the construction of high-level vocational schools and specialty clusters of Hubei Province, a pilot entity of the third series of modern apprenticeship hosted by the Ministry of Education, and a directorate entity of the Hydrology, Engineering and Environment Sub-Committee of the National Land Resources Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee.
The college comprises the School of Natural Resources and Geographic Information, School of Environment and Engineering, School of Automotive and Electromechanics, School of Information and Media, School of Finance, Economics and Business, School of Marxism, and School of Continuous Education. It has 47 vocational majors (specialties), including one national backbone specialty, two pilot specialties of modern apprenticeship hosted by the Ministry of Education, two specialties under the fiscal support of the central government, one provincial key specialty, four provincial characteristic brand specialties, and six provincial backbone specialties.
Entering the new era, the college will deepen innovative drive force and continue connotative development around the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and push ahead with the construction of a characteristic vocational college, which can perform best in the industry, become outstanding in the region, take the lead in the province and acquire reputation in the country.
