学校简介

湖南工业职业技术学院是中国特色高水平专业群（A档）建设单位、国家示范性高等职业院校、湖南省首批卓越院校。是湖南省内装备制造专业最全、规模最大、历史最久的公办高职院校。学校设机械工程学院、汽车工程学院、电气工程学院等10个学院，开设全日制高职专科专业40个，现有在校学生14400余人。

学校服务湖南装备制造业“走出去”，国际交流成效显著，先后与12个国家20余所高校建立了合作关系，开展师生海外研修、中外合作办学、留学生教育、境外本土化人员培训等国际交流工作。2016年，与加拿大北方应用理工学院开展机械制造与自动化合作办学项目。2018年，在泰国设立我校首个境外分校—中泰国际学院。截至目前，我校累计培养留学生80余人（其中马来西亚25人），开展海外人才培养培训5000余人，输出中国技术与职教标准，为“一带一路”国家当地技术技能人才培养与产业经济发展服务。

Hunan Industry Polytechnic is one of the Grade A Construction Units of Distinctive and Advanced Specialty Group in China, National Qualified Higher Vocational Colleges, the first Hunan Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges. It is the oldest and largest higher vocational college with the widest range of specialists related to equipment manufacturing in Hunan. There are 10 schools in the college such as Mechanical Engineering School, Automotive Engineering School, Electrical Engineering School, with 40 full-time specialties and over 14400 students.

Served for the equipment manufacturing in Hunan “going global”, Hunan Industry Polytechnic has made remarkable achievements in international exchange. The college has established cooperative relationship with over 20 universities in 12 countries in overseas training of students and teachers, Sino-foreign cooperative education, international students education, training abroad of local employees and other international and exchange. In 2016, the college implemented a cooperation program in machinery manufacturing and automation with Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology. In 2018, China-Thailand International College was founded in Thailand, which was the first overseas branch. Up to now, there are over 80 overseas students including 25 students from Malaysia. The college trained over 5000 overseas staffs and provided technology and vocational education standard of China, served for cultivating local technicians and industrial economic development of nations along Belt and Road.
