学校简介：

江西旅游商贸职业学院是江西省示范性高等职业院校、江西省高水平高等职业院校、省人民政府和国家部委确定的省部共建优秀院校、江西省首批应用技术型本科人才培养试点院校。

学校坐落于江西省南昌市经济技术开发区丁香路1号，校园占地面积1068亩，在校生20000余人。校园环境优美，是一所AAA级教育旅游示范区。

目前，学校拥有教职员工1000余人，其中专任教师849人，入选省“百千万人才工程”1人，省级教学名师7人，省中青年骨干教师23人，师资力量雄厚。专业教师不仅具有扎实的理论教学基础，更具有突出的实践操作能力，双师型教师占专业课教师总数的41.2%。

学校设有旅游、经济管理、会计金融、国际商务、机电与建筑工程、艺术传媒与计算机、体育等7个二级学院，开设40多个专业。学校还与江西科技师范大学联合开办了酒店管理、物流管理专业的应用技术本科班。

学院高度重视国际合作与交流工作，目前已有中英、中美2个中外合作办学项目，与英国南兰克郡学院开展联合办学，开办了中英旅游管理、电子商务、国际贸易3个专业；与美国夏威夷大学卡比奥拉尼学院联合开班了中美旅游管理专业。此外我们还与日本、马来西亚、韩国及“一带一路”沿线等国家开展了境外实习，国际交换生，学生境外学历提升等国际合作项目。

2020年12月我校在泰国友好校芭提雅技术学院设立了海外分校-泰中旅商学院，通过此国际合作项目招收了泰国来华留学生30多名，双方进一步在师生交流、课程共建、专业标准输出等领域开展紧密合作。2022年我校建成“一带一路”国家院校中国特色文化国际传播教育基地，为传播中国文化、讲好中国故事、培养国际性技术技能人才打好了基础。

Jiangxi Tourism and Commerce Vocational college is a pilot higher vocational college and a high-level higher vocational college in Jiangxi Province. It is also an excellent college established by its provincial people's government and the national ministries and commissions, as well as one in the first group of pilot colleges for training applied technology undergraduate talents in Jiangxi Province.

The college is sited at No.1 Dingxianglu Road, Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, People’s Republic of China. It covers an area of 1,068 mu (approximately 712,000 square meters) with more than 20,000 students. With its beautiful environment, this college has been regarded as an AAA-level educational tourism pilot area.

Now, the college has attracted more than 1,000 faculty members, including 849 full-time teachers, one that is enlisted in the provincial "One-Million-Talents Project", seven provincial famous teachers, and 23 young and middle-aged backbone teachers，the college is equipped with outstanding faculties. With their solid theoretical foundation in teaching, its professional teachers also perform well in their practical operation. “Double-qualified” teachers account for 41.2% of the total teachers of specialized courses.

The college has seven departments, namely tourism, economic management, accounting and finance, international business, electromechanical and architectural engineering, art media and computer, and sports, offering more than 40 majors. It has also joined hands with Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University to develop an undergraduate course involving applied technology in hotel management and logistics management.

The college attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchange. At present, there are two Sino-British and Sino-American cooperative education projects. It has partnered with South Lanarkshire College, UK, to develop three majors, namely Sino-British Tourism Management, E-commerce and International Trade. It has also jointly opened a program with the University of Hawaii, Kapi’ olani Community College in the United States, majoring in Sino-American tourism management.

In addition, we have also carried out international cooperation projects with Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and other countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative", such as overseas internship, international exchange students, and overseas education upgrading of students.

In December 2020, our college set up an overseas branch - Thailand China Tourism and Commerce college in Pattaya Technical College, a friendly school in Thailand. Through this international cooperation project, our college has recruited more than 30 International students from Thailand. The two sides further carried out close cooperation in the fields of teacher-student exchange, curriculum co-construction, professional standard output and so on.

In 2022, our university has built the "One Belt and One Road" National Educational Base for International Communication of Chinese Culture, laying a solid foundation for spreading Chinese culture, telling Chinese stories, and training international technical talents.
