Tang International Education Group, the Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority jointly signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on the CCTE Model Sino-Pakistan Modernization Dual-Diploma Joint Vocational and Technical Education Program on 19th April,2022. The implementation details, curriculum standard certification and other matters have been fully agreed by the three parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Muhammad Naazir Khan Niazi, Chairman of the Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore, Abdul Wasay, Director of the Academic Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority and Li Jinsong, Founder and President of Tang International Education Group and guests.
Abdul Wasay, Director of the Academic Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, said that the authority has been actively seeking cooperation to strengthen the training of demand-oriented and high-quality vocational and technical personnel in the various fields, including agriculture, infrastructure and information technology. On 15th July 2021, the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority signed a contract with Tang International Education Group. Upon signing of the contract, all parties would actively carry out the collaboration on the CCTE pilot project. The progress has been gratifying since then.
“I wish to thank Tang International Education Group and the partner colleges in China for their dedication and support. Our CCTE pilot project with Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology and Guangzhou Construction Polytechnic is progressing smoothly. We expect outstanding students from Pakistan to enter these two projects to start their studies. We are also carefully researching and selecting new majors that meet local needs in accordance with the 'Sino-Pakistan Vocational Education 210 Programs' proposed by Tang International Education Group to carry out more CCTE project collaboration in the future,” said Abdul Wasay.
He also said that the collaboration with Tang International Education Group will surely bring greater development to Pakistan's vocational and technical education.
Dr. Muhammad Naazir Khan Niazi, Chairman of the Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore, said that the CCTE model of Tang International Education Group was eye-opening to him. He carefully studied the “Sino-Pakistan Joint Course Program” for the two pilot majors, namely Software Technology and Road and Bridge Technology. He found that the updated curriculum could greatly improve the technical level of students and hoped that the academic team of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority can fully explore the features of the CCTE project to empower them.
"Thanks to CCTE project brought by Tang International Education Group, which allows us to learn from the Chinese experience and master their technology. We welcome more Chinese colleges and universities to collaborate with us. The ' Sino-Pakistan Vocational Education 210 Programs' is an excellent initiative, and I look forward to the day when all these 210 majors can all be opened in Punjab," he added.
Dr. Muhammad Naazir Khan Niazi expressed his recognition and gratitude to the CCTE project and Tang International Education Group's long-term development plan in Pakistan.

The main functions of the Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore in the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority system revolve around approval of academic programs, student registration and management, and the award of academic certificates, while the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority is mainly responsible for the operation and daily teaching management of the public vocational colleges in Punjab Province.
The three parties reached a comprehensive understanding on the details of the CCTE project from enrolment, joint training, plan formulation, examinations, award of academic certificate, curriculum standards and professional standard certifications. The CCTE model has developed an official and standardized Sino-Pakistan vocational education collaboration model in Punjab Province. Based on the CCTE model, the three parties have jointly built a brand-new Sino-Pakistan vocational education collaboration platform, and they warmly welcome more excellent Chinese colleges and universities to join the CCTE project collaboration to help Chinese's vocational education and industry "go global".
