The First Overseas Branch of Chinese Higher Vocational Electrical College was Established in Pakistan. The Signing Ceremony of The Four Parties Agreement Between Yantai Vocational College and GMI Mehrabpur and The Unveiling Ceremony of The "Sino-Pak International College" Came to a Successful Conclusion.

On June 8, 2022, Yantai Vocational College, GMI Mehrabpur, Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Government of Sindh) and Tang International Education Group successfully held the "Signing Ceremony of Four Parties Collaboration Agreement of CCTE Model Sino-Pak Dual Diploma Joint Education Program and Unveiling Ceremony Sino-Pak International College" online. The Sino-Pak International College under the CCTE model was once again established in Sindh Province, which is also the first modern overseas branch established by Shandong Province Vocational College in Pakistan. It will become an important carrier for China's electrical industry vocational education standards to enter Pakistan.


Wen Jinxiang, Dean of Yantai Vocational College, Raza Jalbani, Chairman of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, Mustafa Suhag, Executive Director, and leaders of various departments and the Dean of other five subordinate technical colleges that plan to carry out CCTE projects, Ahmed Memon, Principal of GMI Mehrabpur, Li Jinsong, President of Tang International Education Group and other leaders and guests attended the signing and unveiling ceremony.



Ahmed Memon, Principal of GMI Mehrabpur, said that power shortage has always been a pain point for Pakistan's economic development, and he is looking forward to learning China's advanced vocational education concepts and electrical automation technology curriculum standards through this collaboration with Yantai Vocational College. He is very grateful for the joint promotion and support of all parties to realize this CCTE project collaboration: “The collaboration with Yantai Vocational College is a historic moment in the development of our school. We got off to a good start today and look forward to establishing more comprehensive and closer collaboration with Yantai Vocational College and Tang International Education Group in the future.”

This CCTE model Sino-Pak dual diploma joint education program has injected new innovation and development vitality into the educational collaboration between the two countries. Four parties collaboration in curriculum standards, talent training and other aspects to give full play to the leading role of "Belt and Road" education. At the same time, it is hoped that all parties will carry out pragmatic collaboration, accelerate the speed of project advancement, jointly create a good environment for the healthy development of Sino-Pak International College, cultivate modern international talents of electrical automation for China and Pakistan, and provide intellectual support and talent guarantee for serving the "Belt and Road" initiative.



Mr. Raza Jalbani, Chairman of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, first expressed his gratitude to Yantai Vocational College and Tang International Education Group on behalf of the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority and all his colleagues. He said that Sino-Pak friendship has a long history and Sino-Pak relations are rock solid. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1951, the field of science and technology, especially the field of technical education, has been the focus of collaboration between the two countries. Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority will continue to support Tang International Education Group and Sino-Pak vocational education collaboration.


Mustafa Suhag, executive director of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, said that today is another historic moment following the establishment of the first CCTE model Sino-Pak International College in Sindh Province on May 21, 2022. Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority fully recognizes the importance of learning Chinese experience, introducing Chinese technology and advantageous disciplines, and cooperating with Chinese institutions to cultivate talents for the construction of the Sino-Pak Economic Corridor and the development of Pakistan. At present, Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority has set up a Chinese language learning center in Karachi to improve the Chinese proficiency of local students so that they can better join the CCTE program. He expects that the vocational and technical colleges under the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority can establish more cooperative relations with China's first-class vocational colleges under the coordination of Tang International Education Group to provide talents for the infrastructure construction, energy, social economy and technological development of Sino-Pak Economic Corridor.



President Li Jinsong thanked all parties for their support for the CCTE project, and pointed out that under the framework of the Sino-Pak Economic Corridor, many thermal power plants, wind power plants and even nuclear power plants have been built in Sindh Province. Yantai Vocational College and GMI Mehrabpur carry out the CCTE model Sino-Pak dual diploma collaboration project in the electrical automation, which will meet the needs of electrical talents in the province. It will also serve the long-term transformation and development of local Chinese-funded enterprises and further promote the people-to-people bond between China and Pakistan.



Recently, units 2 and 3 of the Karachi nuclear power plant have been connected to the grid to generate electricity. Last month, the first hydropower project of the Sino-Pak Economic Corridor, the Karot Power Station, was officially connected to the grid for power generation. In the context of the successive completion and operation of several energy projects in the Sino-Pak Economic Corridor, China's first electrical CCTE model Sino-Pak International College has established Sindh Province today. It can be described as "timely rain", and it is the best response to "Chinese technology" and "Chinese standard" to take substantial steps to go global. Tang International Education Group is willing to join hands with more institutions and enterprises to serve the development of overseas Chinese assets through the CCTE model of Sino-foreign educational collaboration.
