China-Pakistan TVET Collaboration and Development Seminar was Successfully Held at Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Beijing

In response to President Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter to the World Conference on Vocational and Technical Education Development, “China actively promotes the high-quality development of vocational education and supports exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign vocational education”, serving the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, promoting people-to-people bonds between the people of China and Pakistan, deepening China-Pakistan Vocational Education Industry-Education Collaboration. On August 29, 2022, the launching ceremony of the China-Pakistan TVET Collaboration and Development Seminar and China-Pakistan TVET Exchange and Collaboration Series Activities hosted by Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Beijing and undertaken by Tang International Education Group was successfully held at Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Beijing.


This seminar aims to strengthen and consolidate the collaboration between the two countries in the field of vocational and technical education. It was chaired by Ms. Afifa Shajia Awais, Education Counselor of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Beijing. 34 top experts from Embassy of Pakistan, government agency, universities and colleges and other institutions, represented by H.E Mr. Moin ul Haque, Ambassador of Pakistan and more than 100 leaders and experts from the Government of China, Think tank and nearly 30 vocational colleges, represented by Mr. Yu Yougen, Deputy Secretary of China Education Association for International Exchange, attended the seminar.

H.E Mr. Moin ul Haque, Ambassador of Pakistan, said that the seminar and series of activities aimed to improve the vocational skills, professional ethics and business ability of Pakistani youths, who account for about 70% of the total population of Pakistan. By cultivating various talents for special economic zones in Pakistan to increase export volume, and by collaboration with China’s most advanced vocational colleges in CCTE model, Pakistan will emerge as regional “center of excellence” for vocational training, and help the poor out of poverty through vocational skills improvement.

Mr. Yu Yougen, Deputy Secretary of China Education Association for International Exchange, introduced the achievements of China’s vocational education development and international exchanges and collaboration, congratulated the successful holding of the seminar, and put forward three expectations: First, adhere to co-construction, sharing and common development; Second, adhere to market-oriented, demand-oriented; Third, adhere to cultivating kinetic energy, mutual benefit and win-win.

He believed that the new CCTE model international education service system will surely achieve good results in the development of the Modern China-Pakistan Dual Diploma Joint Education Program.

Mr. Li Jinsong, President of Tang International Education Group, said that on the basis of reaching a consensus with the Pakistan Provincial Vocational Education Bureau, he will join hands with leaders and experts from the educational circles of China and Pakistan to strive to achieve the construction goal of the CCTE model “China-Pakistan 210 Project”. Jointly provide 210 advanced professional standards and related curriculum standards and resources for Pakistan’s vocational education system, provide talents for Pakistan’s industrialization, urbanization, and informatization development, and become a model of “Belt and Road” educational collaboration.

Dr. Ding Zhifeng, executive president of Beijing Global Talent Exchange Association, pointed out that strengthening China-Pakistan vocational and technical education collaboration is of positive and important significance for cultivating high-skilled talents and promoting the economic and social development of China and Pakistan. The association is willing to give full play to its own advantages and jointly launch the China-Pakistan International Industry and Education Collaboration Alliance with Tang International Education Group and participating units to carry out various forms of collaboration.

Mr. Sajid Baloch, executive director of National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), made a report. He said that the Pakistan government hopes to make full use of China’s rich experience in various fields such as economy and society, especially in the field of technical and vocational education to collaboration with the organizer of the seminar to introduce the teaching standards of Chinese vocational education and improve the technical level of vocational education in Pakistan.


Pakistan today faces the challenges of poverty and unemployment, and rapid population growth has led to more and more young people entering the labor market. He believed that with the joint efforts of the diplomacy of the two sides, not only the friendship between China and Pakistan will continue to glow with new vitality, but Pakistan will also benefit from it and enter a new era of development.

This seminar is not only a concrete manifestation of China and Pakistan leaders and experts who care about international collaboration in vocational education in response to the important instruction of “China actively promotes the high-quality development of vocational education and supports exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign vocational education” from President Xi’s congratulatory letter to the World Conference on Vocational and Technical Education Development, but also a concrete manifestation of China-Pakistan steel friendship and people-to-people bond.


Tang International Education Group will take the consensus reached at this seminar as an opportunity to strive to achieve the construction goal of the CCTE model “China-Pakistan 210 Project”, continue to serve China-Pakistan educational exchanges and collaboration, and contribute to China-Pakistan steel friendship!
